King Benjamin's Virgin Burner Blog: Didn't Get Burning Man Tickets??? Don't Panic!!!
Last Wednesday was the Main Sale for Burning Man, and many people weren't able to secure tickets, including yours truly.
But NEVER FEAR. This happens EVERY YEAR! And there are plenty more opportunities to get a ticket.
Here's how...
Not only is there a whole other sale that will happen in August (see below), but also, tickets will be on sale consistently between now and the event.
SO, if you still want to go, make sure you keep your ticket money in your savings, because there's these ways to buy still:
1) People sell their tickets to cover bills/because they change their plans all the time, either through Craigslist, person-to-person, or through outside ticketing sites. Be on the lookout for posts.
2) The STEP Program, which is Burning Man's way of exchanging tickets securely online (read more about it here.)
3) The OMG Sale in August, which follows this same protocol as today, but fewer tickets. I'll let you know when it comes up.
4) The Low Income Ticket Program, which is a program that sells 4,000 discounted tickets to people who can demonstrate financial need.
