The weather in Los Angeles has been GLORIOUS the past couple of days. It's really remarkable to me how much the weather changes the energy and outlook of my life. With the beautiful blue skies, warm air and the vibrant, lush growth of the plants, I've felt more alive, happy and hopeful than I have in a while. And yesterday I was truly struck by a new sight outside my front door...

OUR TREE BLOOMS AGAIN

When we bought our house there was a stump in front where a tree once stood. ⁣ ⁣ 1 year later that stump had grown many slender branches. ⁣ ⁣ 2 years later, those branches are flowering. ⁣ ⁣ I have no doubt that fruit will come from this tree in a few seasons. ⁣ ⁣ Nothing is ever lost...only changing.

🔥 SONGWRITING WITH EDEN ESPINOSA AND KAMILAH MARSHALL

Singer Eden Espinosa released her powerful self-written album, REVELATION, recently, and she's been posting these wonderful interviews about each of the songs. I was honored to get to co-write her first song with her and our friend Kamilah Marshall. It was such a fun session, and Eden was a natural.

Here's what Eden wrote about the song,

"This was the first song written for the album. I lived in a place of fear for so long that it became almost like a comfort zone for me. This song is about breaking out of that place. Taking back your life. Thanking back your power and moving on from it. I wrote it with @gypsymoonshine and @bencaroncreates I was so nervous and scared. I could not have chosen 2 better souls to have my first writing session with. They provided such a safe place for me to create in and were the most amazing collaborators."

I am honored to call Eden and Kamilah friends, and humbled that we got/get to create together. ⁣
